Phil is a Chartered Waste Manager with over 30 years' experience in the environmental sector, including over 25 years in waste regulation, policy, and consulting.

He is a Technical Director in WSP UK’s Waste Advisory and Circular Economy Team. Phil has successfully led consulting teams with a broad portfolio of advice across waste technical, commercial, and regulatory compliance, resource recovery, and circular economy implementation. He focuses on areas including waste infrastructure transaction due diligence, expert opinion in disputes and prosecutions, infrastructure performance and compliance auditing, and practical operational advice.
