Ronald de Vries is Department Manager of Strategic Projects at Twence B.V. With his team of project managers and engineers Ronald is managing strategic green-/brownfield projects aiming to recover more raw materials from waste and to produce more sustainable energy. Project examples at Twence B.V. are: CO2 capture and utilisation, extension of waste heat recovery, combined heat and power, district heating systems, biogas to green gas. De Vries joined Twence in 2028 after many years in Rabobank International, Haskoning and DNV. Ronald has extensive (inter) national experience in developing/financing/managing and engineering complex projects in the field of the utility sector, the waste to energy sector and the transition to Net Zero de-carbonisation of the industry. De Vries is a graduated mechanical engineer (B.Sc. HTS Enschede, the Netherlands) and an expert in environmental quality management (M.Sc.) graduated at the Monfort University at Leicester (UK).
