Building fuel supply resilience for the EfW sector - this is the focus of Geminor’s UK team. Tom Musgrove joined the Geminor group in 2024 to lead this project: collaborating with EfW operators and fuel providers, developing fuel supply models that blend UK supply, storage, RDF export; alongside building a pathway for import of European RDF.

Tom has been in the EfW sector since 2010. Initially focussed on RDF export, then 2015 moved across to UK EfW representing anchor fuel supply of 1.5Mt of C&I sourced fuel into the UK EfW network. Developing Geminor’s ‘EfW resilience’ model is the evolution – bringing together key stakeholders, taking Geminor’s Nordic fuel hub learnings, supporting EfW operators and their fuel supply partners.
