As the Head of Heat Networks Strategy and Engagement Cantor is at the heart of the governments work to enable the growth of affordable decarbonised heat networks that provide good quality services to consumers as part of a lowest cost pathway to net zero. Delivering affordable low carbon heating is one of the biggest and most difficult challenges we face in reaching our net zero targets. As part of his strategic work he is involved in working with partners to build a coherent approach to recovering local renewable heat and growing a high value supply chain. Cantor is a Chartered Chemical Engineer with a Master’s in Business Strategy and the Environment. He has a background in implementing strategic approaches to adapt to climate change, major infrastructure delivery and managing the environmental impacts of industry and really enjoys collaborating with others in achieving outcomes for communities and the environment.
