Tim is National Energy Director of SUEZ recycling and recovery UK, which is a recycling and energy recovery company employing over 6,000 people in the UK, operating from over 320 sites. The Company provides services to one in three people in the UK and its vision is ‘to live in a world where there is no more waste!’ Tim has overall responsibility for the Suez energy portfolio including 11 Energy from Waste plants managing c2.5 million tonnes per annum with an installed gross capacity of over 230MW, one Anaerobic Digestion facility and 21 internally operated landfill gas generation schemes together with 18 operated by third party operators, with a total installed capacity of over 50MW. In 2023 the Suez portfolio generated over 1.5TWh’s of electricity and Tim is also responsible for group power management and trading of these volumes. Tim has worked in the sector for over 28 years and during this time has been a strong advocate and supporter of renewable energy and embedded generation in the UK.
