James is a Senior Policy Advisor in the environment team at the National Infrastructure Commission. He is responsible for the Commission’s work on the contribution of the waste sector to a circular economy, and has also worked on surface water flooding, natural capital and the infrastructure planning regime. Prior to this he was the Policy Manager at the Royal Town Planning Institute and worked on infrastructure coordination at the Greater London Authority.
