Fiona joined Biffa in May 2024 as Head of Sustainability and Public Affairs. Previously she worked in the UK affiliate of global life sciences company Bayer where she led the UK sustainability, public affairs and communications programmes, including setting up their ESG reporting and sustainability strategy. Prior to Bayer Fiona worked in trade associations across chemicals and food and drink manufacturing where she worked on a range of UK and EU policy areas including emissions trading, packaging, food surplus, chemical safety, and waste management.
